A public consultation meeting will take place in Ballinasloe on Monday to discuss new flood maps for the area.
The meeting is part of the River Shannon CFRAM survey being carried out by the Office of Public Works, which is in the process of compiling accurate flood mapping across the river Shannon catchment area.
Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting, which will discuss some preliminary options to manage flood risk in the Ballinasloe area. It takes place in the Civic Offices at Bridge Street, Ballinasloe this Monday, January 11 at 2pm.
