Ireland rugby star Robbie Henshaw, along with Connacht’s Kieran Marmion and Denis Buckley will be in Buccaneers RFC, Athlone, on Sunday as part of the Mazda Rugby Roadshow.
The roadshow, organised by Mazda Ireland is a great opportunity for young rugby fans to meet their Connacht and Irish Rugby heroes, while receiving top tips and taking part in skills workshops on the day.
The event is not just for the children, with adults given the opportunity to take a test drive in one of the fleet of new Sixth Generation Mazda vehicles on site, and Mazda experts will be on hand to answer any technical questions.
Brand ambassador Kieran Marmion says the Mazda Rugby Roadshow is about adding value for Connacht fans.
“In this case it’s for some of our most important ones – the young fans who eat, sleep and breathe rugby. Myself and the rest of the lads are looking forward to getting on to the pitch with the children, showing them some skills and sharing a few tips.
“This will be my first year at the Mazda roadshows, but I know the lads from the team last year were blown away by the turn out and the enthusiasm of the kids on the day. We may have even spotted some stars of the future in action!”
