Let your inner vampire out this Halloween as The Snug Bar is holding a fancy dress party, with spot prizes for the best costumes! If you usually don't give much thought to your dress sense, dig out the cape and groom those hairy hands for what may well prove to be an interesting Saturday night out!
In the run-up to Halloween there are bands on every night, starting with Hickory Wind on Thursday October 22 from 9.30pm. Hickory Wind are a three-piece root group from Athlone who play a mixture of country, bluegrass, blues rockabilly, and Cajun music. Hickory Wind always deliver a very professional performance which is very different to your typical cover band.
Acoustic 2 play on Friday 23 at 10pm, with Toxic Twins on stage on Saturday 24 at 10pm. Dave and Eric, known as the Toxic Twins, are a duo on drums and guitar. This rock/ pop covers band is likely to satisfy even the most demanding music enthusiasts with their wide repertoire of songs.
On Sunday 25 Take 2 will be in The Snug Bar from 7pm and they will be followed at 10pm by the return of Acoustic 2. On the bank holiday Monday, music will be provided by High Reel from 8pm.
Not only is there a full line-up of music this weekend, but there's always a chance to watch Barclays Premier League action live on Sky Sports, Setanta, and BT Sport.
