Home Instead Senior Care named Franchise of the Year

Local home care provider, Home Instead Senior Care, was named Franchise of the Year (Service ) at the 2015 Irish Franchise Awards.

The awards recognise excellence in franchising and reward the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals in the franchise industry. Speaking about the accolade, Jonathan Acton, general manager of the local home care provider in Mullingar said: “We are very much a people-centred business and our focus is all about caring for others, delivering only the very best home care services.

“Being named Franchise of the Year in the Service category acknowledges the efforts we have made in providing an unrivalled home care service to clients in the local community. To us, home care is personal, and the relationships we have with clients underpins everything we do.”

David Killeen, chairman of the Irish Franchise Association, said: “The awards are an opportunity for us to formally recognise and celebrate the excellent work being done by all franchise operators in growing our sector, consolidating existing businesses, and protecting sustainable jobs. The Irish Franchise Awards celebrate 20 years this year and are one of the longest running business award ceremonies in Ireland. 230 guests attended the black-tie gala event hosted by Newstalk’s Jonathan Healy and officiated by Minister Kevin Humphreys.
