There’s always a good vibe at The Snug Bar, whatever day of the week you head in there - check out their playlist for this weekend and you’re bound to strike it lucky.
The Retronauts are back on Thursday, September 17 at 9.30pm and they’re a blast from the past with a modern twist. They perform a quirky mix of funk, disco, rock and reggae hits anywhere from the 60s to the present day. With a repertoire that big you can understand that their influences are as diverse as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, Chic, Prince, and Diana Ross.
Pacifica play on Friday night, September 18 from 10pm - they’re a rock pop cover band from Galway who are always welcome at The Snug.
Favourites Toxic Twins are on stage from 10pm on Saturday, September 19. This duo, on drums and guitar have a wide repertoire of songs from acts such as Bruno Mars, The Police, Temper Trap, Lumineers, The Knack, Undertones, Talking Heads, U2, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, The Killers, Blondie, and many more.
The beer garden will be open as usual, with music from the DJ keeping the cold at bay!
Snug Sunday sees Reigning Day at 7pm and Small Deal at 9pm. Reigning Day know how to create a brilliant atmosphere, and duo Dermot and Nigel from Athlone, aka Small Deal, provide great entertainment to round off your weekend.
