If you weren’t in Croke Park over the weekend, then the next best place to be was in The Snug Bar on Main Street, where there was an atmosphere to rival anything Dublin could offer!
And even if this weekend is a bit quieter on the sporting front, there’s plenty of great musical entertainment to be had.
On Thursday, September 10, Acoustic 2 are set to do the honours at 9.30pm - this great acoustic cover band play a wide range of songs, so sit back and listen to their great versions of some of the classics as well as more recent tunes.
Reigning Day will be on stage on Friday, September 11 at 9pm. Chason and Declan from Castlerea are no strangers to The Snug Bar and have gained a reputation for creating a great lively pub atmosphere which will have everyone joining in with the craic.
On Saturday Snake Bite are playing from 5pm, followed by the resident DJ in the beer garden.
Hoppy Bar Stars return on Sunday from 7pm - these lads are really popular, playing a mix of trad and modern music.
