Westmeath County Council candidate, Cllr Paul Hogan, has called for the Bullet Road between Ballykeeran and R916 Cornamaddy Road to be resurfaced as a matter of urgency.
“I am calling on Westmeath County Council to immediately resurface the stretch of road between Ballykeeran and the R916 Cornamaddy Road, as it is in urgent need of repair.
“This road is in a horrendous condition at the current time with the risk of motorists seriously damaging their vehicles.
“I will endeavour to raise this issue with the area engineer in an effort to allocate funding to repair this stretch of road.
“In a separate but related issue, motorists are experiencing difficulties with a sizeable pothole in Glasson Village, and I intend raising these matters with the area engineer,” added Sinn Fein Councillor Paul Hogan.
