The Snug Bar can always be relied on to put together a great line-up, and this bank holiday weekend is no exception.
This Thursday, July 30, Hickory Wind, a three-piece root group from Athlone will be playing a mixture of country, bluegrass, blues rockabilly and Cajun music. Hickory wind always delivers a very professional performance which is very different to your typical cover band. Catch them from 9.30pm.
On Friday at 10pm, it’s the turn of Acoustic 2, an acoustic cover band playing a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes from the old classics to the current chart toppers. You can expect a very lively performance that always gets the crowd involved.
Pacifica play Saturday August 1 at 10pm. This rock pop cover band from Galway have been greatly received at The Snug Bar on previous occasions. This should be a great Saturday at The Snug Bar, and DJ J-Dawg will be setting the mood in the beer garden.
Sunday at 7pm sees Small Deal on stage. Dermot and Nigel, from Athlone, lively and very entertaining, sing all your favourites. They really get the crowd on their feet. At 10pm Shane and Jay from Edenderry will be playing a bit of everything!
Next Wednesday, August 5, Goff and Gramps play at 10pm. They are two well-known local musicians who will be playing a mix of styles.
