Reacting to the current economic conditions Saab has told us of substantial price reductions across their Saab 9-3 range.
Saab tells me that it has given Irish motorists even more compelling reasons to choose the 9-3 model with reductions averaging over €5,000.
Saab executives say that their reduced prices are achieved without any change to the class-leading specification level of the various models. The new prices, effective immediately, apply to the 9-3 Sport Saloon, Estate and Convertible ranges.
The 9-3 range now starts at €29,995, excluding delivery and related charges, for the 1.9 TiD (120bhp ) Linear model. That's a reduction of €4,575 on this entry level model (diesel ). Next up is another popular 9-3 model - the 1.8t BioPower Linear, now at €30,960, excluding delivery and related charges. That's a price reduction on this model of €4,740.
Commenting to us on the new pricing structure, Doug McCoy, General Manager, Saab, said:”We recognise the difficult economic climate and have responded by offering motorists the Saab driving enjoyment, safety and outstanding value-for-money specification at substantially reduced prices. These reductions apply across the 9-3 range of saloons, estates and convertibles.
Motorists can choose from the low emissions and fuel economy of 120, 150 or 180 bhp turbodiesels or the industry-leading BioPower engines running on E85 bioethanol, a renewable fuel, giving increased power and reduced fossil emissions of up to 80 per cent compared to driving on petrol.”
