Enjoy the freedom of camping and caravanning in the great outdoors!

The Irish Camping & Caravan Club is a voluntary organisation for all the family and open to those who like spending happy weekends and holidays out in the fresh air of the countryside in tents, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes.

Established in 1971, the club currently has five branches: Leinster, Leeside, Shannonside, Corrib, and Northern.

The Corrib branch was set up in 1991 and has a membership coming from all around the Connacht region. It co-ordinates fun-filled weekends with children’s sports, family quizzes, leisurely walks, BBQs and non-camping activities including spring/winter walks, social nights, adults and childrens Christmas parties. Regardless of the weather, the sun always shines on your weekend with the Corrib branch!

Twice a year the five branches come together to holiday in Ireland. Some of the activities include a kids club, treasure hunt, volleyball, picnics, boules, fishing, golfing, social theme nights, ‘Stars in your Eyes’, beach parties, outdoor music sessions, and the camping holiday wouldn’t be complete without the BBQ!

The Irish Camping & Caravan Club is affiliated to the Internationale Federation de Camping et de Caravanning (FICC ) and probably the best known of the activities are its annual international camping and caravan rallies which takes place in different countries throughout the world.
