Monksland Community Summer Camps

Roscommon Sports Partnership are delighted to announce that the Monksland Community Summer Camps is returning again this year after a very successful camp last year. There is a sports camp and arts and crafts camps, which will run consecutively from June 29 to July 3, beginning at 10am and finishing at 1pm. The camps cater for children aged six-13 years. There is a small cost of €15 for one child, €25 for two, €35 for three for the sports camp.

The outdoor sports camp will be held at the Monksland football pitches between 10am and 1pm.

This camp will focus on sport and physical activity with fun games and activities, races, rounders, parachute games, soccer, GAA, and much more featuring throughout the week. The children will be divided into groups according to their age.

This camp enables children of all abilities and backgrounds to come together for a fun-filled week, to make friends, build self- esteem and improve their skills. The activities provide an opportunity for the children not only to develop their own individual skills, but also to improve their social skills through group work.

The indoor arts and crafts camp will be held in the Monksland Community Centre. This will cater for a variety of activities and masterpieces to be created.
