The Snug has yet another great line-up of live music planned for this weekend, starting with The Dave L Show tonight, Thursday April 9. Dave has a wide variety of songs covering several decades and always delivers a crowd-pleasing performance
Reigning Day are Chason and Declan from Castlerea. They are no strangers to The Snug Bar and have gained a reputation for creating a great lively pub atmosphere which will have everyone joining in with the craic - they take to the stage at 10pm on Friday night.
On Saturday Mullingar duo The Late Greats will be on hand to play a wide range of material. Their set list spans six decades of great music with a variety of hits that will satisfy all tastes. Their exceptional vocal harmonies always receive great appreciation from the crowd. This band never fails to create a great night at The Snug Bar. DJ Jamie will be setting the mood in the beer garden.
This Sunday The Snug Bar are happy to welcome back Junkyard Geordies to stage at 7pm. Ben and Dave from Newcastle Upon Tyne are professional musicians. Known for their exceptional talent, they are both former members of the renowned Jukebox Gypsy. Their mix of music is folk/rock and pop and their performance is always very interactive and upbeat.
Crooked Jacks follow at 9pm. A well-established ballad/folk group from the Midlands who have played in top venues in London , New York, and Amsterdam to name a few. Their influences include The Dubliners, Dublin City Ramblers, The Pogues, Mumford and Sons, and the Clancys. This should be a great day at The Snug Bar.
The Snug Bar will also be showing all the GAA and soccer action.
