A public consultation day is to be held in Athlone on February 17 to allow members of the public to have their say on the Flood Risk Management Plan for the area.
Jacobs Engineering Ireland Limited wish to invite you to their public consultation day to view and comment on their draft flood maps for Athlone, including the areas of Bogganfin, Clonown, and Monksland.
The maps are part of the Shannon CFRAM study which will assess flood risk across the Shannon catchment area and develop flood risk management plans for areas at risk of flooding.
If you would like to express your view and experiences of flooding or comment on the draft maps, please come along to the Aidan Heavey Public Library, Athlone on Tuesday February 17 from 12-7.30pm. The draft flood maps will be on display on the day, and are also accessible on www.shannoncframstudy.ie
