Athlone Arts and Tourism are delighted to announce a new drawing course led by visual artist Lesley Wingfield. The four-week long course will begin on Saturday February 8 in Abbey Road Artists’ Studios.
During this programme participants will receive expert tuition on drawing techniques - eraser drawing, texture drawing, negative/positive drawing, and much more.
This course is tailored to a beginner/intermediate level participant and is aimed at adults and young adults.
Administrative assistant Emilia Krysztofiak says: “I believe anyone can learn to draw accurately. Past participants of this course have frequently commented on how beneficial it is to receive continual constructive feedback from the tutor. This year Abbey Road Artists’ Studios has a busy agenda including lots of great value courses. This drawing course is perfect for those who vowed to learn new skills in 2015!”
This course is an ideal hobby course for adults and is also perfect for Leaving Certificate students who wish to add to their college submission portfolios. As the drawing course caters for a small number of participants only, early pre-booking is essential.
