Kicking off a weekend of live music at The Snug are local band Snakebite - playing tonight, Thursday January 29 at 9.30pm.
Junkyard Geordies play Friday night at 10pm. Ben and Dave from Newcastle UponTyne are professional musicians - known for their exceptional talent they are both former members of the renowned Jukebox Gypsy. Their mix of music is folk/rock and pop, and was a huge success on their debut at The Snug Bar on their last visit. This should be a great night for music lovers
Saturday night is Toxic Twins night. Playing at 10pm this is a great opportunity for anyone who has not yet seen Dave and Eric, known as the Toxic Twins - a drums and guitar duo. This rock/pop covers band is likely to satisfy even the most demanding music enthusiasts with their wide repertoire of songs from acts such as Bruno Mars, The Police, Temper Trap, Lumineers, The Knack, Undertones, Talking Heads, U2, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, The Killers, Blondie, and many more.
DJ Jamie will be setting the mood in the beer garden.
Sunday night kicks off with Taobh Saol at 7pm. Making their debut at The Snug made up of All Ireland Fleadh-winning Daniel Boland on fiddle and banjo, Daniel Hiney on percussion and concertina, and Lorcan Cowen on guitar and vocals.
They are followed by Pacifica at 9.30pm who are making their second apperance at The Snug.
Covering all your favourite rock and pop songs the band consists of Steven McGuire, vocals and guitar; Eanna Moloney, vocals and lead guitar; and Ben Kelly, drums.
The Snug is also relaunching its pizza and a pint offer. Pop in and avail of a delicious freshly baked pizza and a pint for just €10.
