For the second year running, Trad on the Prom will take to the stage in the Hodson Bay Hotel.
Anyone looking for an alternative Valentine’s Day or even to escape Valentine’s mania, Trad on the Prom provides the perfect excuse this Saturday February 14.
Watch an unforgettable show of world-class music, song, and dance and performers who have captivated audiences in extraordinary productions such as Riverdance, The Chieftains, Lord of the Dance, and Feet of Flames, and have now gathered together on one stage for an unforgettable entertainment experience in the Midlands.
Suitable for all ages, the world-class cast features the amazing talents of Máirín Fahy on fiddle and vocals. Máirín is joined on stage by her outstanding band including Chris Kelly, Gerard Fahy, and Yvonne Fahy featuring the unique sounds of the bodhran, whistles, uileann pipes, accordions, bouzuki, guitars, keyboards, and much more.
The Trad on the Prom dancers have an astounding 28 world titles shared by the dancers alone. Four times World Irish Dancing Champion Cian Nolan and six times world female champion Claire Greaney play lead in this amazing show. Joining them on stage are Fergal Keaney, David Geaney, Ciara Sexton, Cathal Keaney, Mary McDonagh, Anne-Marie Keaney, Colm Conneely, Emer Finnerty, and Sean Nós sensation Shane Creed.
