Sean Costello and Frank Naughton, AKA Duo Vocis, take to Birr Theatre & Arts Centre on January 31 at 8pm with their brand new show - Celebrating the Great Irish Tenors.
This unique venture is as a result of Sean and Frank touring Ireland over recent years in many different concerts dedicated to Josef Locke, and Frank Patterson, but now they’ve decided to add the wonderful John McCormack, arguably the most famous Irish tenor of all time, into the mix.
With such a wide repertoire between the three tenors, deciding what to put in the programme can be a challenge, but with Sean and Frank’s vast experience in this genre of music the audience are in for an evening filled with classics like ‘Danny Boy’, ‘I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen’, ‘Hear my Song’, ‘Back to Sorrento’, and many more. A evening of nostalgia and beautiful music provided by very talented musicians, coupled with the distinctive and powerful voices of these two likely lads is guaranteed.
