The Snug Bar, Athlone will continue its tradition of great live music into 2015 with four nights of fantastic bands this weekend.
It all starts tonight, Thursday January 8, with Jock and Dave - these local musicians take to the stage at 9.30pm to play a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes from the old classics to the current chart toppers.
Macey South follow on Friday night, January 9 at 9.30pm. They are incredibly unique and delight audiences with their original mix of traditional Irish music and rock n roll that never fails to get an audience involved.
White Mansions play on Saturday January 10 at 9.30pm. This energetic duo from Mullingar play a wide range of material. Their set list spans six decades of great music with a variety of hits that will satisfy all tastes. With soaring vocal harmonies and exciting musical arrangements this two-piece band always keep the crowd entertained through the night.
Then end the weekend in style on Sunday January 11 with Dave and Eric, known as the Toxic Twins, from 9pm. Toxic Twins are a duo on drums and guitar. This rock/ pop covers band is likely to satisfy even the most demanding music enthusiasts with their wide repertoire of songs from acts such as Bruno Mars, The Police, Temper Trap, Lumineers, The Knack, Undertones, Talking Heads, U2, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, The Killers, Blondie, and many more.
