Amazing Apples are back in The Snug Bar this Sunday

There’s another amazing weekend of entertainment lined up for The Snug Bar this weekend.

This Thursday November 27, check out Acoustic2, an acoustic cover band playing a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes, from the old classics to the current chart toppers. You can expect a very lively performance that always gets the crowd involved!

Reigning Day from Castlerea are no strangers to The Snug, and they’re back on Friday night. These lads have gained a reputation for creating a great pub atmosphere which will have everyone joining in with the craic.

On Saturday The Snug Bar hosts The Dave L Show. Dave has a wide variety of songs covering several decades and always delivers a crowd-pleasing performance. Meanwhile DJ Jamie will be setting the mood in the beer garden.

Sunday sees the return of Amazing Apples and Macey South. Kicking off at 7pm, Macey South are an incredibly unique band  and original songs from their new album such as ‘Casey’ and ‘The Wiseman’ have become extremely popular. Macey South always gives a hugely entertaining and energetic performance.

Appearing from 9pm, Amazing Apples are a five-piece multi-instrumentalist folk/ rock band from Galway. Their profile is rising quickly as word spreads fast about this musically versatile and talented band with massive charisma and huge live appeal. Their sound is Irish/ Americana with tons of personality and high-energy performances. All the members are multi-instrumentalists incorporating bouzouki, mandolin, keyboard, and fiddle for their live show. The band have supported bands like Mumford and Sons, Damien Dempsey, Walking on Cars, Mundy, The Saw Doctors, and The Stunning. They were also chosen twice as ‘Play Irish’ artists of the month with their song ‘Head in the Clouds’. ‘Slipping By’ was released in March 2014 and peaked at number one on the iTunes downloads charts. It should be a great night at The Snug Bar!
