Athlone Women’s Network are organising their second Christmas indoor market/ jumble sale on Saturday December 6 from 11am-5pm in St Mary’s Hall, Northgate Street.
In addition to getting into the Christmas spirit, the main purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for new small business promoters, many of whom are women, to market their products. Santa Claus will be stopping by to say hello, with free face painting for all the children. Athlone Community Radio will be doing an outside broadcast on the day.
So if you have a few hours to spare on Saturday December 6 between 11am-5pm come along to St Mary’s Hall to the Christmas indoor market and see what’s on offer.
This activity is being organised in conjunction with Westmeath Community Development and Athlone Community Taskforce, and AWN thank both groups for their continued support in helping to support equality for women in addition to enterprise promotion.
