Beggars Velvet play The Snug this Saturday at 10pm. This three-piece acoustic act from Galway are all multi-instrumentalists and singers. Born out of the boredom of the present cover band scene, the plan was to create something different, something new, something versatile while still keeping a certain amount of integrity within the set. The set is always evolving and always new and never should be missed.
Live sports fans won’t miss a minute of action, as the bar will be showing the Ireland v Scotland match live on Friday night, November 14 at 7.45pm while in rugby the Ireland v Georgia match will be live on Sunday at 2.30pm.
The Snug has BT, Setanta, and Sky Sports and covering all Premiership action every week - great news for sports fans!
And if you’re looking for somewhere to go with friends or workmates during the festive season... somewhere with great live music, a private area, and some nibbles? Then look no further than The Snug.
Customers can now reserve an area of the bar or outside area; The Snug is also offering fantastic offers on finger food from the Celtic Cafe, as well as their usual €10 for pint and pizza offer.
There’ll be plenty of live music over December including The Amazing Apples, Macey South, JigJam, Toxic Twins, and Beggars Velvet.
