Peter Mark salons all over Ireland, including Athlone, will once again grab their ghds, plug in their hairdryers, and turn the fun-o-meter to high as the team goes that extra mile to raise funds for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital this October 24-27.
The Peter Mark salon in Athlone will host a series of fun events over the long weekend including nail painting, candy cart pick ‘n’ mix, fancy dress, and spot prizes in a bid to raise money for this great cause.
Speaking about the Petermarkathon, Denise Fitzgerald, CEO, fundraising at Temple Street said, “Thank you so much to Peter Mark for choosing Temple Street as the recipient of this year’s Petermarkathon. It means so much. Many of our sickest kids depend on equipment bought by generous donations to stay alive. This year alone we need to raise over €5million to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible, which is why it’s so wonderful to have the support of Peter Mark salons nationwide. All of the money raised will go directly to helping us improve the lives of the young patients that come through our doors.”
