There are two Westmeath finalists in this year’s REI Awards.
Retail Excellence Ireland this week announced the finalists for the 2014 REI Awards in partnership with Barclaycard, and Gloria Green of Topaz, Ballymahon Road, Athlone, is a finalist for Rising Star Award. This award recognises exceptional customer care, enthusiasm, and sales technique by a frontline team member.
Also on the list of finalists is Keane’s Pharmacy, Austin Friars Street, Mullingar for the store of the year in the under 1,000 square feet category.
The awards will take place in the Radisson Blu in Galway on Saturday November 1. The finalists were selected following a rigorous examination process, including mystery shopping and a store audit process.
Congratulating the finalists, David Fitzsimons, CEO of REI, said: “I want to congratulate these progressive retailers for being selected. They are exemplars of the retail industry. All have been selected as finalists because they have shown a consistent commitment to excellence in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.”
