Irish courier and forwarding service Nightline has just announced the opening of a new depot in Athlone.
Located in Athlone Business Park, Dublin Road, the depot will serve as a hub for Nightline’s activity in the Midlands. Nightline has created 30 new positions as part of this depot opening, with 10 new employees hired so far this year, and plans to hire a further 20 in the coming 12 months.
According to John Tuohy, CEO of Nightline, a large portion of these roles will be for local van operators. This role is open to skilled drivers with an entrepreneurial drive. It allows experienced drivers the opportunity to be self-employed while partnering with one of Ireland’s largest parcel delivery companies.
