Their profile has risen quickly in the past few months as word has spread about this musically versatile and talented band with massive charisma and huge live appeal. Their sound is Irish/Americana with tons of personality and high-energy performances. All the members are multi-instrumentalists incorporating bouzouki, mandolin, keyboard, and fiddle for their live show. The band have supported bands like Mumford and Sons, Damien Dempsey, Walking on Cars, Mundy, The Saw Doctors and The Stunning at venues such as Electric Picnic and the Currafest. The Snug promises a whole weekend of great live music, starting tonight, Thursday September 11, with Acoustic 2 - an acoustic cover band playing a wide range of songs to suit all musical tastes from the old classics to the current chart toppers. You can expect a very lively performance that always gets the crowd involved.
On Friday September 12 Arcane Moon play The Snug. With a strong emphasis on musicianship, Arcane Moon tackle the songs that others don’t - acoustic with edge. From artists as varied as Christy Moore to Metallica, expect to hear the likes of Paulo Nutini, Bastille, AC/DC, and The Waterboys in their set.
Beggars Velvet play Saturday September 13. Born out of boredom with the present cover band music scene, they create something different, something new, something versatile by putting an interesting take on your favourite songs. DJ Jamie will also be playing in the beer garden.
