The Tullamore Show and AIB National Livestock Show takes place on the Butterfield Estate, Blueball, Tullamore on Sunday August 10, to be opened by Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture.
This authentic cultural experience combines livestock and bloodstock, home and garden, entertainment and fashion, music, and much more. There is something for everyone, with new and improved traffic plans to ensure your day is stress-free.
Not only does the show take in over 250 acres of showgrounds, but there is free entertainment, plus restaurants, bars, and over 20,000 free car parking spaces.
The show has some additions to the competitive programme including the Irish Moiled Champion in the cattle section, new classes in dairy, the Odlums All Ireland Youth Competition in the cookery marquee, the meat village, and fancy dressed dog, to name a few. The show boasts a prize fund of €165,000.
Tullamore also features flower and horticulture shows, and there is keen competition in home industries, art, crafts, equine, dogs and poultry, best dressed lady, and glamorous granny categories.
The Fashion Features Pavilion will include a fashion runway with shows, workshops, and demos run by the Catwalk Modelling Agency.
