Lots to make, see, and do this summer at Mullingar Arts Centre

As the countdown to the school summer holidays have well and truly begun, you can rest assured that the Mullingar Arts Centre has something to keep your young ones entertained this summer.

First of all BOOM! summer camp offers programmes for children from three to six years of age, and kids from seven to 12 years. Tutors Aimee MacManus and Sarah Nally have put together a youth friendly programme of age-appropriate and fun activities ranging from arts and crafts to circus and photography skills.

Three to six year olds are invited to participate between July 14-18 from 10am-1pm daily at a cost of €50. Discounts are also given for two or more siblings.

Children from seven years to 12 years have three camps: June 30-July 4, July 7-11, and August 11-15, from 10am to 3pm, with an hour for lunch. These camps cost €60 with a free DVD of the week’s activities given. Discounts are also given for two or more siblings.

Strictly Summer Camp is aimed at secondary and primary students. Sarah Corrigan and Sarah-Ann Meehan will be grooving through popular dance styles, incorporating lyrical jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and commercial. The camp will be held between August 4-8 inclusive from 9am to 4pm, with an hour for lunch included. This camp costs €60 and €100 for two siblings.

For primary school students Strictly Summer Camp will be running from August 11-15. This camp costs €60 and €100 for two siblings.

An acting master class with Daniel Egerton is perfect for any aspiring young actors aged between 10 and 16 years. Whether you see yourself on stage in the near future or you just want to build some confidence, this camp is perfect for you. Under the excellent, professional guidance of London-based actor Daniel Egerton you will learn essential acting and singing skills.

Daniel Egerton’s summer acting camp will run from August 11-15 from 9.30am-3pm and costs €40.
