IASE in association with the National Learning Network, Westmeath; EmployAbility, Roscommon; and ROWO, are hosting a free breakfast briefing on ‘Managing for High Performance in Organisations’ on Friday June 20 from 7.30-9.30am in Athlone Springs Hotel, Monksland.
Brian McNiece, managing director, Kotinos Partners, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
A key role of any owner manager, CEO, or leader is to facilitate and create an environment that triggers performance improvement in their people and organisation. But what are the specific factors that stimulate such performance improvement?
Kotinos Partners has spent the past 10 years researching leaders of performance environments, for example in business (Google, Toyota, Ryanair ), sport (NZ All Blacks, FC Barcelona, Kenyan Olympic athletes ), the arts (Kirov Ballet, Curtis Institute of Music, RADA ), military (US and UK Special Forces ), and many other sectors, in the pursuit of understanding the dynamics that fuel high performance.
In this session, Brian will provide insights from Kotinos’ unique research into high performance institutions, drawing out the learning from them and outlining the core capabilities needed to build, and maintain a high performance culture within any organisation.
Martin Murphy, National Learning Network will brief attendees on the training and development initiatives for employment and employer-based training, which they provide for people with disabilities.
Eithne Jarrett, EmployAbility Roscommon will focus on the core benefits of supported employment and highlight the supports which are available to organisations such as job coaching, disability awareness training, the availability of grants, and assistive technologies which can be used in the workplace. These supports can be used to remove barriers and obstacles not only for new employees but for existing employees with a disability within organisations, thus enabling the employee to deliver and perform to a high standard in the workplace.
This briefing session will be of interest to HR professionals, owner managers, CEOs ,people managers, and recruitment managers.
