Land Rover will reveal its design vision for a new family of premium leisure SUVs at the 2014 New York International Auto Show.
The Discovery Vision Concept car will showcase the essence of a future family of SUVs built on Land Rover’s key principles of emotive design, unrivalled capability, and ultimate versatility, taken to new levels using new customer-focused advanced technologies.
Gerry McGovern, design director at Land Rover commented: “Discovery has been pivotal in helping to build the foundations of the Land Rover brand. It is admired all over the world and loved by its strong customer base. We have created the Vision Concept to share the essence of Land Rover’s new age of Discovery and to debut a new, compelling, relevant design direction that connects on an emotional level with customers of today and tomorrow.”
Land Rover sponsors style award at Punchestown Festival
Back closer to home, Land Rover is sponsoring the inaugural Land Rover Style Award at the Punchestown Festival on Friday May 2.
The most stylish lady on the day will receive the keys to an equally stylish Range Rover Evoque which will be hers to drive for the year.
Amy Huberman, a Land Rover Brand Ambassador and universally acknowledged style icon, launched the Land Rover Style Award as she took delivery of her own new Range Rover Evoque for 2014. Amy will present the winner with the Evoque on Friday May 2, while soaking up the atmosphere at the Punchestown Festival, a highlight of the Irish sporting and social calendar.
Together with Land Rover, Punchestown is inviting ladies to embrace a fresh take on fashion at the races. The Range Rover Evoque stands out from the crowd with unique poise and flair and these same qualities will be sought by the judges for the Land Rover Style Award.

The Land Rover Style Award takes place on day four (Friday May 2 ) of the Punchestown Irish National Hunt Festival.
