Little Theatre launch new play

The Little Theatre’s next production is the wonderful Martin McDonagh play The Cripple of Inishmaan which opens on April 20 and runs for eight nights until Sunday April 27 at 8.30pm.

This is one of McDonagh’s best plays and it is described as a dark comedy. It is set in the island community of Inis Meain of the Aran Islands and tells the story of Billie Claven (the Cripple ) who seeks a bit of excitement in his life and sees the perfect opportunity when a real Hollywood film crew are coming to the island to make a film. Billie decides to try out for a role in the film and much to everyone’s surprise, he gets his chance.

This production is directed by Harry Smith and has a fantastic cast.
