Fine Gael’s executive council has confirmed an addition to the Mullingar-Coole Local Election ticket.
Emily Wallace joins councillors Peter Burke and Frank McDermott on the ticket.
Ms Wallace from Lemongrove, Gaybrook, is assistant secretary of Westmeath Camogie Board, and a coach, and has a superb record of community commitment through her work in the voluntary sector.
Tom Curran said: “The party’s executive council believes Fine Gael has put in place excellent teams in the Mullingar-Coole electoral area. We are very confident of success in the Local Elections in Westmeath.”
