The Irish Cancer Society is calling on the people of Westmeath to support Daffodil Day today, Friday March 28.
The Irish Cancer Society, with lead partner Dell, encourages people in Westmeath to help the fight against cancer and support Daffodil Day. Over 4,000 volunteers will be on the streets and in shopping centres in towns around the country, including in Westmeath, selling fresh daffodils and daffodil pins aiming to raise €3.45 million.
Locals are asked to support the campaign by making a donation to the Irish Cancer Society this Daffodil Day. You can buy a daffodil or Daffodil Day merchandise from a volunteer, text Daff to 50300 to donate €4, or phone CallSave 1850 60 60 60 to donate.
You can also make a donation online at www.cancer.ie/daffodilday, download the Daffodil Day smart phone app, or buy Daffodil Day merchandise in the online shop www.cancer.ie/shop
All funds raised on Daffodil Day go directly to providing information, care, and support to those with, and affected by, cancer in Ireland.
