Teresa Molloy of Valleycourt in Athlone will be travelling to Frankfurt, Germany in May to represent Ireland as part of Team Ireland in the World Hairdressing Championships.
Teresa, a hairdresser with MoHH will be bringing with her model and Bower student Katie Brill and make-up artist Sorcha O’Dowd who is from Monksland.
This is Teresa’s second year on the team which is made up of 14 hairdressers, all managed by Maeve O’Healy Harte, who is also from Athlone.
Last year she competed in Moscow with Team Ireland who have been very successful in the past 10 years with a total of 144 medals and several trophies and title wins.
Teresa is now looking for local businesses to come on board to support her on her travels to the World Hairdressing Championships.
The talented hairdresser created the piece around the theme of seashells. She also made the dress to go with her creation to make a whole look.
