Residents are expected to be able to connect their homes to the new sewerage scheme in Hodson Bay within the first three months of this year, Cllr John Naughten has confirmed.
“Roscommon County Council expects to be in a position within the first quarter to issue letters informing residents that they can connect to the sewerage scheme. The council also expects to have all associated works completed at that stage, including footpaths and roads,” said Cllr Naughten.
“While it has been a long process to get this project to fruition I welcome the fact that it is now coming to a conclusion and that the residents of the area will soon be in a position to connect to the new system.”
