Cempo Interiors are delighted to invite you to attend The Gathering Cois Tine on Sunday December 8 in Cempo Interiors, Blyry Business Park Athlone in aid of the Midlands Simon Community.
This is a competition of modern ceoil with special guests Stiofan O’Farrell who performed the YouTube sensation Wake me up as Gaeilge; Leah Egan from Ros na Rún; the wonderfully talented Macey South, and Ray Collins from the RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival committee.
Local transition year students from local schools will perform songs from the charts as Gaeilge and with a modern twist. The competition will be judged by panel of judges Stiofan O’Farrell, Leah Egan, and Ray Collins. Seamus McKenna from Athlone Community Radio will compere the event and Macey South will perform on stage during the interval and after the competition compere.
Tickets are €5 each and are available to purchase at Cempo Interiors. All proceeds will go to the Midlands Simon Community. All ticket holders will also be included into a free draw on the day for a €500 voucher off a Kingstar insert stove.
As this is a showroom setting, students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (maximum two students per adult ).
Cempo Interiors will also host a Christmas toy appeal in aid of Barnardos and would appreciate any donations over the coming weeks. All toys will be placed under the Christmas tree and will be donated to Barnardos.
