Lynn Antiques are holding a major clearance auction on their premises in Gleeson Street, Athlone on Sunday November 17 at 2pm.
Lynn Auctions are an established family business in Mullingar and have been opened in Athlone since May 2011. Their premises is one of the most iconic buildings in Athlone, having been The Adelphi Cinema for many years. It was later known far and wide as McFarlands Furniture Stores, and nowadays is occupied by Lynn Antiques.
While the company specialises in the sale of antiques and collectables they are also involved in other areas of both house and shop clearances. Accordingly there is a selection of varied and interesting pieces of modern furniture, and other articles included in the auction on Sunday.
It is seldom that an outstanding collection of such quality comes to auction in this area. And Frank Brandon who has been in the furniture business for more than 30 years says that in his view the variety, quality, and value that should be on offer makes this an unmissable event.
