Athlone Community College’s Annual Fashion Show, organised by Geraldine Kenny and the parents association, took place last Wednesday October 2 in the Radisson Blu Hotel and has been hailed a resounding success.
Students took to the catwalk to model clothes from Penneys as well as debutant attire supplied by local business Burgess. Catwalk Modelling Agency was the centrepiece of the show, modelling clothes and accessories from local retailers such as Carraig Donn, Just for You, Athlone Towncentre, Kadee, Fashion Followers, Burgess, Boutique Clodagh, Clara Ellen, Arden Equestrian, Swimkit, and Fashion in Feathers.
Principal, Eileen Donohoe, said, “It is a wonderful social occasion, brimming with bonhomie and joy and it offers a chance to our glamorous students to shine outside the classroom”. She also thanked all the local businesses for their generous sponsorship as well as patrons for their continued support of Athlone Community College.
