Irish HomeCare awarded Q Mark by Excellence Ireland Quality Association

Irish HomeCare, which employs over 70 carers in counties Westmeath and Longford, has been awarded a level two Q Mark by Excellence Ireland Quality Association - guardians of the Q Mark. The organisation received the accolade for its quality management systems, improving on the level one award it earned last year.

Irene Collins, MD of Excellence Ireland Quality Association said, “Irish HomeCare is fully deserving of this award for the significant improvements they have made to their management structures and systems. Global research shows that there are clear links between business performance and independent certification against a recognised standard. Congratulations to the team for their hard work which is clearly paying dividends.”

Sally Murtagh, founder and managing director, Irish HomeCare said, “We are delighted with this recognition from the Excellence Ireland Quality Association. It is great that the team’s hard work is acknowledged. We’re looking forward to continuing to improve the performance and efficiency of the business throughout the year ahead.”

Irish HomeCare is an independent, Irish, family-run business established in 2005 by professional carer Sally Murtagh.
