Westmeath County Enterprise Board hold information evening

On the morning of Tuesday October 15 Westmeath County Enterprise Board are hosting an event for both people already in business and those thinking of starting up a business to address any questions they may have.

Starting at 10am a number of Government agencies will present information stands and speak with people. Agencies including FÁS, Westmeath County Enterprise Board, Enterprise Ireland, Micro Finance Ireland, Social Welfare, Back to Work Enterprise, Westmeath Community Development, Westmeath County Council, and Intertrade Ireland will be represented. The agencies will be able to answer any questions you may have about key regulations and assistance available to your business.

There will also be a number of county enterprise board mentors available to advise people on accessing finance, investigating a business, grant aids, and marketing.

Gerry Duffy will address the audience, a professional motivational speaker, goal setting coach, and writer. During his career to date he has been employed in a wide range of fields including the travel, insurance, and property sectors. His sporting CV is filled with accomplishments such as running 32 marathons in 32 days as well as winning the 2011 UK DECA Enduroman Iron distance challenge, an event dubbed ‘The toughest ten day endurance challenge in the world’. Mr Duffy loves to challenge himself as well as conventional wisdom and is keen on leading by example. Gerry will outline his perspective on the Four Keys to Business Success.

The event will be held in the Radisson Hotel, Athlone on Tuesday October 15 at 10am.
