Athlone Gateway Project is starting a new Foroige Junior club for kids aged 10 to 12 year old. Foroige Junior is the first stage of an exciting journey in Foroige.
Foroige Junior will have weekly clubs on a Thursday evening from 5.30-6.30pm. Each club will involve various activities like art and crafts, dance, music and games. Foroige Junior clubs are a fun way to meet new people and take part in different activities.
Athlone Gateway Project are holding a registration night on Thursday September 19 from 5.30-6.30pm in St Mary’s Hall in Northgate Street. Registration for the year is €20 and this includes Foroige membership and insurance. A weekly charge of €1 will also apply and this will go toward club outings and events.
If you aged between 14 and 18 the Youth Booth Café offers a fun and relaxed environment, where you can play pool, use the band rehearsal space, play with the Wii, and take advantage of the sports and kitchen facilities. The café is open every Friday from 3-7pm in St Mary’s Hall, Northgate Street.
