After purchasing An Tintain in late 2006 Paul and Niamh’s aim was to have the restaurant recognised for high quality food at affordable prices. Being located beside some wonderful lakes they have put a big emphasis on good fresh Irish seafood.
One of their signature dishes is a seafood creel which consists of monkfish, cod, seabass, mussels, prawns, and scallops in a tarragon cream sauce
They also source only the best quality Irish Hereford beef for the restaurant.
An Tintain came to the attention of Paolo Tullio in May 2011 who reviewed the restaurant. This was topped by their Best Casual Dining Restaurant award this year which is a recognition of all the hard work and dedication of the staff at An Tintain.
