Based in St Mary’s Hall, Northgate Street, Athlone, Gateway Youth Café has announced face painting workshops for teenagers and a new junior Foroige club.
The free face painting programme will take place for teenagers aged 12-18. They will learn a new, fun skill that could even help them earn some pocket money at birthday parties! Classes are one hour long and the programme will run over a three-week period commencing tonight, Friday September 6, at 7pm sharp. The Gateway’s new Foroige Junior Club for children aged 10 -12 years old will hold meetings on Thursday evenings from 5.30-6.30pm. The club will involve various activities like art and crafts, dance, music, and games. Foroige Junior Club is a fun way to meet new friends and take part in different activities.
A registration day will be held on Thursday September 19 from 5.30-6.30pm in St Mary’s Hall. Registration for the year is €20 and this includes Foroige membership and insurance. A weekly charge of €1 will also apply and this will go toward club outings and events.
