A fundraising night with an 80s disco theme is being organised to raise funds for CanTeen Ireland.
The 80s night which will include a themed disco, BBQ, and a monster raffle are all planned for P Egans, Moate on Saturday August 31 in aid of the charity which supports teenagers who have cancer.
CanTeen Ireland is a nationwide support group for young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years who have or have had cancer, and for their brothers, sisters, and friends.
Marie and her fellow organisers hope to raise much
-needed funds for the charity which will go towards weekends away, day support meetings, and the production of their biannual newsletter as well as age appropriate information about cancer.
