B&Q, Athlone recently held a series ‘You Can Do It’ classes.
The purpose of the project was to encourage and teach customers DIY skills.
B&Q hope that by providing these workshops they will encourage the love of DIY.
Cost is becoming ever more important to people when considering new projects, and B&Q pride themselves on having the skill and facility to give customers the confidence to tackle projects themselves.
Staff have been well trained to advise customers on DIY skills and they can also show customers their extensive range of products that will help bring their project dreams to reality. B&Q Athlone will be working closely with community groups and have plans in the near future to roll out ‘Kids You Can Do It’ classes where they will teach kids to build such things as bird boxes and tool boxes.
