Newly opened restaurant Pearl Continental is providing a dining experience that is new and different for Athlone.
Pearl Continental opened its doors just two weeks ago on Pearse Street, and is fast establishing itself as a favourite for those looking for an extensive menu filled with delicious dishes from round the world.
There is something to suit everyone’s taste in this cosy, welcoming restaurant, with a menu that features some of the finest in Italian, Mexican, Thai, and Indian dishes.
You’ll find everything from stir fries and pastas, to Indian dishes and a selection of chargrilled steaks. Dishes such as the Mediterranean chicken, gourmet burgers, Thai-style stir fries, korma dishes, and fajitas are already proving popular, with customers eager to try out the variety of dishes on offer.
For starters, you can enjoy garlic mushrooms, caesar salad, prawn pakora, filo prawns, mango delight, meat samosa, and much more.
And the dessert menu is just as tempting, with homemade banoffee, strawberry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, and a selection of ice creams, among other sweet treats.
You can also keep an eye out for weekly specials at Pearl Continental.
On Fridays and Saturdays, customers can enjoy three courses for €22.95, while during the week you can avail of two courses for just €15.95.
Pearl Continental also offers a fantastic €5 lunch menu, featuring pastas, salads including caesar, Cajun or grilled chicken, Indian dishes, lasagne, wraps, and much more, as well as weekly specials.
The restaurant can cater for groups of up to 40 people, and is ideal for your next family or special occasion. They operate a ‘Bring your own bottle’ policy, and do not charge for corkage.
Pearl Continental is open Monday to Friday from 12-3pm for lunch and 5-11pm for dinner, Saturday from 5-11pm, and Sunday from 1-11pm.
