Galway Arts Festival fever will take over the city from July 15-28 with world-class productions and shows from Ireland and around the world. Catch the only Irish run of Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre’s enchanting Rite of Spring and Petrushka.
Festival Big Top headlines include US indie rockers Grizzly Bear, Josh Ritter, Glen Hansard, and A Night At The Proms with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
In theatre the international hit Mies Julie, and producers of last year’s festival hit The Outgoing Tide’s new show Stella & Lou are sure to be festival highlights. Don’t miss Olwen Fouéré’s Riverrun; the touching Sanctuary; A Galway Girl; and thrilling physical theatre show Knee Deep.
Free events include an action-packed weekend of four acrobatic and visually stunning street spectacle shows, and exhibitions from John Gerrard and Howard Hodgkin at the Absolut Festival Gallery.
