Carmel Sheerin & The Ravens have announced they will be playing a Christmas concert in The Bog Lane Theatre in Ballymahon, Co Longford on Tuesday December 16. An enjoyable night for all the family is promised as Carmel and the boys perform songs from their recently released second album, together with some Christmas carols like you've never heard them before.
The band has recently launched its second album Here With You with multi-Grammy award winning Nashville producer Bil VornDick. "Very rarely do you get a chance to work with a family band of three brothers and a sister, as the lead vocalist. There is something about family bands and their harmony that can raise the hairs on the back of your neck. They have the European flair in their music that is so appealing," said VornDick.
Be sure to bring your kids along as there might be a very special guest from the North Pole on the night to hear Carmel & The Ravens live for the first time.
Doing a special short opening set on the night will be street minstrel and poet Felix Sonnyboy Wilson from the US.
