New beauty therapist at Koztello Hair & Beauty, Amanda Corrigan, has over 10 years salon experience, having worked in Dublin and Offaly, and in Athlone for the last four years.
At Koztello she offers a range of treatments from tanning, waxing, tinting, make-up, nails, and new treatments including:
- Specialised waxing: an advanced form of bikini waxing from standard bikini line to Californian, Brazilian, and Hollywood
- Shellac: high gloss finish, dries instantly, no chipping, no smudging - just fabulous nails for up to two weeks.
- Dermalogica facials and products: the Prescriptive Facial is tailored to the needs of your skin, takes one hour 15 minutes, and includes an eye trio - lash tint, eyebrow tint, and eyebrow trim. The microzone or mini facial is for those in need of a quick fix and takes just 30 minutes.
- Electrolysis: removes and reduces stubborn unwanted facial hair. This treatment involves inserting a very fine sterile needle into the hair follicle. A small amount of heat is introduced to remove the hair. A patch test is required.
- Red Vein: Facial vein treatment, which involves inserting a very fine sterile needle into the capillary. A small amount of heat is introduced, which results in the capillary being destroyed. The capillary disappears immediately after treatment. A patch test is required.
Koztello is open at Inish House, Golden Island, Athlone every Tuesday to Saturday 9am-6pm and for late appointments Fridays until 8pm. Amanda is available every Wednesday 9am-6pm, Thursday 9am-6pm, and Friday 11am-8pm.
A student discount is available every Wednesday with 50 per cent off all treatments, and a senior discount every Thursday of 30 per cent off all treatments.
