No Fixed Abode present Catch Me If You Can

No Fixed Abode Players present Catch Me if You Can, the hilarious comedy play written by local playwright Margaret McKenna Mullan and directed by Eoin Croffy. The play comes to Roscommon Arts Centre tonight, Friday February 8.

This highly entertaining and fast-paced comedy play delivers relentless laughter and promises to be the perfect night out. Catch Me If You Can is set in a country cottage in the Midlands. Two spinster sisters, Mary Luby, played by multitalented, award-winning actress Ann Hoey; and Greta Luby, played by the playwright herself Margaret McKenna Mullan, find themselves lumbered with their cantankerous ageing father, played by Seamus McKenna, who played a blinder as Jack in Margaret’s first play The Sleeveens. Both sisters have the same agenda - inheritance - but is it enough? How much more can they take? Will it all go according to plan or will a visit from the crazy locum doctor save daddy from these Luby sisters? The crazy doctor is played by well known comic actor Paul Slevin. Paddy the painter, a rogue of the highest order, gets more than he bargained for while dealing with the Luby sisters. Paddy is played superbly by no stranger to the stage, Malcolm Whelan.

If you enjoyed Margaret’s last play Hindsight, Foresight for Gobshites then this is a must-see. Call Roscommon Arts Centre on (090 ) 6625824 for all bookings or book online at www.roscommonartscentre.ie Tickets are €12 and €14.
