Golf tips from Murphy Sweeney Golf School

Clubhead alignment

Clubhead alignment is the very first step to a good set-up and consistent shotmaking, yet it is very often overlooked.

Before you grip the club, take your time placing the clubhead behind the ball and make sure that the leading edge is square to the target line.

The leading edge is the very bottom line of the golf club. Use the bottom groove as a guideline and ensure that this line forms a right angle with an imaginary line drawn from the ball to your target.

Check your clubhead alignment on your kitchen floor or somewhere where you have a tiled area. You may be surprised by what you see. Improve your clubhead alignment and improve your golf !!
